Comment:

This is a little on the heavy side, but some lighter moments are in there. I don't particularly look for flow when I'm mixing. Just good tracks, and unless it's a themed thing, or a psych mix or something then I like to be shocked by my own choices on occasion. I hope you all enjoy it, and any practical criticism is always welcome.

I think it meets your personal mix criteria, as stated above. A "rollercoaster ride" as I look at it.....

No criticism here! I like the Pumpkins' version of Sandoz better than The Animals...and the rest looks smashing as well!

VERY nice. I'll actually back up Scott on that one, even though I'm not the biggest Pumpkins fan of all-time. GREAT Huskers pick, btw.

Nothin' but praise from me Gerry, although I never would have guessed it was yours if your name wasn't on it.

Awwwriiiight Gerry! Gerald McDonald kicks ass! (sorry, I saw Heavy Metal Parking Lot last night) Seriously, congratulations on receiving the coveted Mix of the Week. Almost any one of your mixes would be worthy of that title. So how are you going to spend the money?

" a sure-enough Saint, who only wanted a halo for a crown...." Congratulations Gerry! (I guess saying "Encore!" would be superfluous....)

I would say "Girl Named Sandoz" is one of the weaker picks off "Pisces Iscariot" (or off the "Peel Sessions" disc for that matter). And I don't care for "Add It Up" much, I usually opt for "American Music" as far as the Femmes go. But there certainly is a consistent tone to the aritsts picked on this album.
