Comment:

After putting together another international girlie pop mix last month, I decided to go worldwide with Old McDonald as well. A few bands are making repeat appearances -- Tages, Os Mutantes and both Kaleidoscopes. Sorry I didn't include the dates the songs were released this time. Everything is from the 60s (mostly late) and early 70s, with the exception of Les Negresses Vertes and the Cato Salsa Experience. To avoid any argument, I realize the Bee Gees started out in Australia and moved to the UK, while the Rokes (who sing in Italian) started out in the UK and moved to Italy, where they were very popular. Thanks to Sir Gerry McDonald for the Poets, who of course will be getting a copy of this.

So many greats, mixed up with so much I haven't heard. Please save me a copy, and let me know what I can send you in return. If it's anything like the first volume, it rules. Great cover, too!

Solid gold once again Mr. Moe. Just gave the first two volumes a spin this morning in preperation for this. Don't know The Terrys. Part of the 60's group sound movement or one of the contemporary acts you're so good at sneaking in on these?

This is a great mix. I recieved my copy yesterday. I love it. It's a great companion to my 2-CD set mix "Dreams In Technicolor: A History Of Psychedelic Rock".
I highly recommend this disc to anyone that loves psychedelic rock. Excellent job Ion.

Man...if the bands I don't know on this mix (most of them) are half as good as the bands I do know (Mogollar, Os Mutantes, Les Negresses Vertes), this mix must kick some serious ass. Up for a trade?
