Just some rough and ready rock n roll. A little heavy and ending on a lighter note. Hope the summer is making all my friends at AOTM happy.

Nice Gerry. I've always liked that NIN track, and love The Fall and Buzzcocks tunes.

Nice! I hope you weren't forced to listen to this in the shithouse. You might have to buy her flowers! ;)

cool mix for this hot summer. i continue to defend oasis against the sneers of my friends. if the beatles and the sex pistols had a child...oasis. thumbs up on the fall and the buzzcocks. i was blasting "singles going steady" at lunch the other day.

I must confess I'm not a great oasis fan. I quite like their first two albums, but afterwards I feel they just repeat themselves ad nauseam. I think they have about four or five great songs though.

I love the first two Oasis records and their attendant singles... and the new album is actually their best since their '95 heyday. This looks like a cool mix, Gerry, though I must admit that I'm a bit mystified by your (artist) choices of Nine Inch Nails, Cast, the Bodeans, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Bush... but hey, to each his own. ;-)

Thanks to all for your comments. Constructive criticism is ALWAYS welcome. If it helps to make my mixes better, then that's fine. Regarding the groups mentioned by Rob and Peter. Funnily enough I'm not fans of these particular groups, I just happen to like these songs enough to include them on my mix. Now and again I'll come across an artist whom I don't much care for, but they are bound to have the odd good song. I doubt however that you'll EVER see a George Michael/Wham, Britney Spears or Barry Manilow track featured on any of my mixes. I have to draw the line somewhere!

This is great RAWK. I wish I could hear it here in New Hampshire - the antithesis of RAWK.

You won't be wanting my Barry Manilow single artist comp then Gerry? It's got some great "Copacabana" alternate takes ;-)
