Comment:
A mix of weird and wonderful stuff. A bit of everything here. Despite the crazy look of it, I feel it blends well together. One instrumental followed by a vocal track. Hope you dig it.Feedback:
I definitely dig. Wow.
Always a pleasure to see one of your mixes at the top of recent submissions. Love the alternating vocal and instrumental tracks.
I dig, too.
Oh Gerry this looks grand. That Cramps -> Albert Ayler is inspired. Loads of other good stuff too, including the Chet Atkins, Kaukonen, James Blood Ulmer, Sonny Rollins, and Sun Ra tracks. Could you hold this at the counter for me? 'Cause when I check out, I'll be wanting this.
Very nice, I haven't heard that James Blood Ulmer song in years.
extreme coolness gerard....theres not a weak choice on this. john hammond...gil scott...jorma...chilton... baker... atkins. its impossible to keep up with you guys. oh and sun ra...geez...what a way to tie everything together.
Hmm... I'm sure I'd like to hear this...
This looks really weird, cool too! The first i see in my ehole life that included both Albert Ayler & Cramps!
Your amazing Gerry!
Keep on mixing!

I agree, looks really cool. Just wondering, which version of that Jorma song is that?
I wish I could help you, Scott, but I'm really not sure where this live version came from.
The description is apt. Some "weird cool" here, in the words of the Pet Set'er....
I want to hear a song called "motherfucker boogie" (well, who wouldn't?)And I just recently heard that exact Sun Ra song played live by a band called Orchestra Superstring - it's a band fronted by DJ Bonebrake from X- and they were fantastic. I'd love to have the original. Oh, and congrats on getting two Chets on one mix.
Some veeery cool stuff here, my Scottish friend. And some veeery strange (but immensely eniticing combinations). A winner for sure.
Wow, looks VERY interesting....
Yep, I dig it, Gerry. Wonderful weirdness indeed.
