Comment:

Thanks to all for the kind remarks about the first two volumes of this series. This is the final one and I hope you all enjoy it. This is by no means a definitive series. Many great doo wop songs have appeared in a few of my previous mixes, such as "I saw a girl in my dreams" "It ain't the meat" "It's the motion" "A night on the town" and a few others. I don't like to duplicate tracks very often and that's why some classic doowop tunes do not appear here. This era was a great one for close harmony singing, and I really love this kind of music. I wonder if we are still around in fifty years time, will we still be listening to doowop. I hope so. It's either that or Britney Spears and N Sync.

Gerry..., a fantastic series and a fine tribute to some of the best vocal harmonization this (or any other) planet has ever heard! (I reckon your vault is as large as the Camelon aqueduct...!)

Hey, Gerry, my phone line's been down for two days, so I can't e-mail (or anything else, for that matter), but I'll get back to you in no time when I'm back on line. Cool mix. BTW.
