Comment:
this is a mix for sueEw. side 1 unintentionally turned into a bit of a local derby - with a lot of australian bands, and especially for sue a bit of a perth connection (though a very slim connection) - sleepy township members were originally from perth and seventeen singer mandee barron lives in perth. elsewhere, the smudge song is a quirky lil descendents cover and the version of bum leg by joe pernice was part of a radio live session he did in oz and came out on a compilation here. hope you like it, sue!Feedback:
smudge!
Looks really good Lucas! I'd like to trade with you again one of these days.
hey this looks good! i'm starting to get back into the local [australian] indie stuff once again.
sandpit - yay! some australian music doesn't suck! sandpit into reindeer section sounds good
Oooh! This looks lovely Lucas. The aussie bands are fantastic - there's a dj on rtr (like melbourne's RRR) that plays lots of older aussie indie pop, such as Sleepy Township and Smudge - and her show is my favourite! Is the Joe Pernice song from the "Australia 2002" comp? If so, I have it (but, as you can tell) haven't listened to it much! I love the fact that Golden Rough is right before Joe - as I always say that they sound an awful lot like him!
