Comment:
a collection of tracks with little in common, apart rom the fact that I like them. Please don't look for a pattern, you'll only get a headache. Just enjoy the music. This concoction contains the only Travis song I like, and the Katrina track which started this whole thing off. Hi-Fidelity?
Feedback:
Even greater! I'm liking your mixes a lot Gerry.
I like this one too, although that Katrina & the Waves song is so upbeat it's annoying IMO.
Damnit, what Ion said again.
some loves and some hates here (katrina & give ireland back to the irish)
you put "give ireland back to the irish" on a mixtape. you are so cool. :)
Hmm, put me in the canoe with Curtis, Ion, and the swede..., still a lot left to like!
MY HERO!!!!!!
Weird... I love about half of them and hate about half of them, but it's definitely an interesting mix. Props to you for the nod to Pittsburgh's own Don Caballero.
(There are few bands/artists in rock and roll that I hate more than the Guess Who and Bob Seger, btw.)
By the way, Rob, I don't particularly like these two bands either, but with all artists, I like to give them the benefit of the doubt. Therefore, I believe they have a couple of good songs each, and they usually find their way onto one of my mixes. I do value EVERYONE's opinion though and take no offense at any constructive criticism offered. I have just rearranged my shelves in order to get much quicker and better access to my cds, so this means I will be producing many more varied and hopefully well-received mixes in the near future. Thanks all.
You could post a three-disc-set of Milli Vanilli studio outtakes, and we'd still love ya Gerry -- we at least I would anyway.
I still love ya, Gerry. I clearly meant no offense to you... just voicing my opinion about those artists. (And "American Woman" is one of the primary reasons that I hate the Guess Who.)
I agree with everybody, but that's what makes these mixes so much fun...
Hey Gerry, trust us we love you. Please, don't test Ion's theory...please...
LOL. Don't worry Curtis, I have my ten CD tribute to Barry manilow to do before I get anywhere near Milli Vanilli :-)
My, my, my. Some of this is really hard to swallow, my man. Katrina? McCartney? Bob Seger? Melanie? Guilty pleasure time of the year? :)
