Comment:
A mix by one of my favourite bands of all time, The Dubliners. Irish music stirs passions in me. It must be my Irish roots (120 years since my people left the Emerald Isle though!). Drinking songs, jigs and reels, rebel songs and love songs. play 'em as you please!
Feedback:
awesome, but it was probably obvious i'd say that...
And I got chastised for including James Last and Boney M. in one of my mixes. You're really hard-core, dood . . . ;-)
oOand it's no, nay, never (clap clap clap clap), no, nay, never, no moooore (clap, clap)Oo...this looks great. now i'll have all these songs in my head for the rest of the day. :)
deluxe...maybe i should say something more irish...i don't think i'm terribly up with irish expressions. hurrah for ireland- they let my ancestors in after we were kicked out of scotland...oops. i actually found piano music for spanish lady at an op-shop awhile ago which i haven't played yet. fine and dandy mix.
Wonderful picks here Gerry.
Although I have an idea of what these guys sound like, I can't say I've ever heard a record of theirs... as a result, nothing intelligent to say, Gerry, but I'm interested in hearing it sometime.
Them boys sure did know how to grow beards!Nice one, Gerry.
I think I've heard three songs-total, by these lads.....are you recovering from the Celtic victory of Blackburn..? :-O
just, Valis, just. back to work tonight!
Looks great....is it 60s & early 70s recordings only Gerry? If so I want this!
yes it is mike, just say the word and I'll mail you a copy
