KING LEAR: a Indie Interpretation of a Shakespeare Classic

Artist Song
Guster  Airport Song (When Lear throws out Cordelia and believes the evil sisters.)
Of Montreal  Autobiographical Grandpa (The Deceptive Edmund fools his family.)
the Dismemberment Plan  Do the Standing Still (Lear's MADNESS)
the Faint  Agenda Suicide (Out Vile Jelly! Gloucester loses his eyes.)
Trail of Dead  Flood of Red (EVIL SISTERS PLOT!)
the Sea and Cake  the Argument (Poor Tom overdoes his "madness".)
Elliot Smith  The Ballad of Big Nothing (loyalty of Kent.)
Nick Drake  Fruit Tree (Cordelia and Lear together again.)
Interpol  Roland (the Brothers duel to the death and Edgar, the good, wins.)

Comment:

This is an musical interpretation of Shakespeare's KING LEAR through the music of the Indie Rock Movement. This mix works well as the background music for when you act out this "masterpiece" for all of your friends in your quaint town.
