Comment:

This is predominantly a seventies-era mix. It features quite a few groups who don't really appear much in AOTM. I think it holds up well, and I hope you all do too. What is the movie from which the title of the mix comes? One of my favourites of all time, and maybe a little tricky. Well, Prof?

I'd say LCCP is correct. What do we win? Excellent mix BTW.

Mmm, love the Pink Fairies, John Cale, James Blood Ulmer, Pentangle and Talking Heads especially. And I believe both Captain Moe and Poserland are correct about Shawshank Redemption.

Gerry....love the Lofgren, (I still pull out the double live "Night After Night' to hear "Keith Don't Go") and Cale picks...you're right---these artists rarely show up.

Nice one Gerry - like the Rutles & Pentangle picks (latter to appear on a mix by me soon, if all goes to plan)

Wow the lots of goodies here. Wanna Meet The Scruffs? is one of my fave lesser known 70's Power Pop albums. A package of audio goodies is forthcoming to your fine land from me any day now.

Just thinking of this Manfred Nann song makes me cringe. And Mungo Jerry? You're really hard-core, my man . . .:)James Blood Ulmer is fantastic, though.

Sorry, this should've been Nanfred Mann, of course. ;-)

Hey Thomas! I just made one of your mixes a favourite and it had James Last and Boney M on it, so you are in no position to criticise! :-)It's all part of the fun of mixing, my friend!
