Comment:

I know jazz isn't always the most popular genre in AOTM, but I love it with a passion. Especially the period covered by this mix. Hopefully everyone will enjoy this mix of popular and rare jazz tracks, from my favourite period. Twenties-Fifties, although I think the Coltrane track is from the early sixties. Sorry about the shoddy artwork. I am attempting to get better at this side of things and know there is massive room for improvement. Who knows, one day I may be as good as Ion Moe :-), if I work hard enough at it! Honourable mentions also to everyone who attempts covers. It ain't easy and enhances this listener's enjoyment of the mixes. Peace to all.

Great stuff. The only jazz I really like is the same period, and you've got a great collection here.

i'm not schooled in jazz like i'm schooled in the history of scotland (black dinner, represent!) but from what i do know this looks super tight. my main aversion to jazz is probably due to the a) my limited knowledge, b) most of it reminds me of midnight journeys and heartbreaks (which isn't bad per se i guess)...hmmm...either way, you still rule.

Love the mix and the cover, Gerry. Some fonts just seem to work better than others ;-) How are ya, btw? Heard your e-mail was full, so I thought I try this approach...
