Comment:

A mix with some nice tunes, mostly old stuff but a little drop of new blood has dripped in too. I've listened to City Slang over ten times today, such a great song. But I would say Sonic Reducer is my favorite song on this mix. The Sonics and The Phantom tracks feature some the coolest screams you'll ever hear in a rock song. The Stooges and Guitar Wolf tracks stand back to back as two raging Tokyo crushing beasts; featuring two of the loudest mixes I have ever heard. The Nocounts are Swedish, but I don't hold it against them. The Electric Prunes definitely had more than one good song. I finish it all of with the brilliant Sister Ann by the Motor City Five.

Great songs all around, great Richard Hell pick, amongst many, and a Mallrats reference in the title. All-around excellence. Incidentally, the Eden Prairie Mall (where Mallrats was filmed) is a few miles from my house. Whenever I'm there someone inevitably makes a comment about the need to fear and respect the escalator.
