Comment:

A tribute to my teenage years, when I was into prog. I am afraid it hasn't worn well over the years. I don't listen to prog much these days, preferring the sharper three minute type rock n roll thing, which I always loved anyway. However, these are still listenable, and I humbly think this is a nice relaxing mix, with some of my favs from the period which surreptitiously spawned another love of mine, punk, and some more up to date stuff in the same vein. enjoy.

"Marillion man"? P the Swede is hilarious! Some classics and total obscurities here. I like it.

Welcome back (again) Gerry! Looks like another cool mix. The Clap (the song, not the ailment) inspired me to take up the acoustic guitar, which I later gave up when I realized I'd never be 1/1000 as good as Steve Howe.

yes Gerry, three cheers for Yes, King Crimson, and ELP! The others are off my radar. Good to preserve the period/genre.

Ion makes a good point about "the clap". Great song and amazing guitar part. I must have tried that a thousand times - including once just week. I've concluded that Steve Howe has 4 arms.
