Comment:

This is 1976-1980 Part Two. See "Oh! What A Well-Made World!" for comparisions. Yeah, I know....Wire, Wire, Wire. Since I made the last tape, Wire has become an all-consuming musical passion for me. I now have the classic first three albums, "Pink Flag", "Chairs Missing" and "154". And I wanted to continue and expand on the idea of the first tape, that being "Wire vs. ?". At first I'd just wanted to remove a small handful of songs from the first tape and replace them with others. But the idea, as ideas tend to do, began to evolve into something slightly different. Honestly, this was a tough mix to do. That first tape is easily the best I've done yet and trying to come up with a companion was no small task. We'll see, once this goes into my car stereo this week, whether or not I succeeded. Oh, also, this mix begins with a dialogue sample from Dog Day Afternoon "I'm with a guy who doesn't know where Wyoming is...so, you think you got problems?"......As always, feedback is appreciated. Ciao.
