Syd Barrett is my idol. His songs are dark and lonely and yet full of imagination and whimsy. He's been a source of inspiration (musically, lyrically, and stylistically) ever since I found out about him. It's too bad about what happened to him and his state of mind. I guess that's why he's so appealling.
