There are only a few bands I will KILL for: Beatles, Stones, Barrett era Floyd, The Who, The Byrds and of course the mighty T. Rex. This is a gathering of songs from the late sixties (and '70) model T. Rex or rather Tyrannosaurus Rex. Songs about sex, cars, and Tolkien - good stuff. It's amazing how much psychedelia Marc Bolan, Steve 'Peregrin' Took and Micky Finn got out of some guitars and bongos. Great musicianship, great harmonies and great lyrics. Music to KILL for indeed. Nice one malchick. Some personal fav's here, such as: "Stacey Grove"; "By the Light of the Magical Moon" (!); and "Eastern Spell"....
What music would I kill for? Depends on who I would have to kill I 'spose. This mix is full of music to die for, however. In addition to Valis' faves (of course he'd pick "Stacey Grove" ;-) "Elemental Child" is an absolute favorite.
