Comment:
Well, I decided to dress up as a cowboy for Halloween and this is the soundtrack for that costume. I originally wanted to be Gram Parsons but I couldn't find a Nudie suit with marijuana leaves, pills and naked chicks on it! So now I'm going for that Val Kilmer-Doc Holiday look. Anyways, this is just a collection of country rock, or rather "Cosmic American Music", to put me into the mindset of a cowboy. I didn't realize how little music I had from this genre (hence the Beastie Boys) but oh well. One more thing-Gram Parsons' ghost visited me while I was making this mix. Seriously. He sat me down on his ghost lap and said-"Now son, if yer goin' to make a mix of Cosmic American Music, you'll have ta put my voice on there three times. Not once. Not twice. But three times. Are ya listenin' to me son?" I slowly shook my head. "Yer a good boy." said Gram, and then he pulled out a deck of cards and showed me a pretty cool card trick. He also said that my costume was lame, and that Emmylou was a whore. Ya don't say...Feedback:
