Comment:

A wee mix (my first for a while) of fairly obscure, but tasty, pre-1950 Jazz. Hope you all enjoy this selection from one of my very favourite genres of music.

By the way, I have been busy on a personal level over the last two/three months, but things are settling down. I would be very interested in catching up with trades with my many AOTM friends, and any newbie who is interested in trading, please peruse my mixes and hopefully you'll find something of interest. I'm sure I will find some gems among the many great mixes made over the last six months or so. Apologies to anyone whose e-mails I did not reply to. My father in law died recently, and that together with an erratic outlook express has meant I haven't been able to keep in touch with people in the way I would like. Peace to all. Hope to hear from you all soon.

schniklebop! yes, sir, those were the days when the days were the days . . . Gerry, I'd trade anything for this, if things are calmed down enough for you to be trading --

mmmmbop! looks pretty fine Gerry, though I must admit I'm pretty unfamiliar with most of this. Looking forward to swapping with you soon if you're up to it.

looks tight, Gerry. I know a bunch of the names (if not all the compositions)
from listening to W-BGO, Jazz 88

Excellent stuff (at least the tracks and artists I'm familiar with). Love the Basie, Waller, Horne, Bob Wills & Light Crust Doughboys especially.
