Comment:
I made this tape during the summer of '99 for my cousin. I had remembered wrong the title of this mix as it was in actuality untitled. "Slightly Miscellaneous" was the title of another mix I had made for my cousin. One of the things I remember about that particular mix is that it had the most awesome cover which I can not retrieve now, because I put it together on my old computer. I just stuck a lot of Old Hollywood star portraits together in black and white. Not really sure where that idea came from, nonetheless it worked well. Anyhow, altogether this mixtape here (the 'Untitled') is probably the strangest I have ever made with the whole classical thing being interlocked with some old Moby at his most heavy-guitar hardcore and etc. I was very big into Cocteau Twins at the time as well, as that may have seemed to have resonated. --NOTE: WAGNER's Ride Of the Valkyries is actually a great song to start a mix. It really grabs the listener's attention... well, for obvious reasons really.Feedback:
Nice mix...Mussgorsky is a good starter as well.
with these kind of bands, I think the classical additions mix in just fine. esp. luv those chameleons & the the tracks
