Comment:

An all analogue straight vinyl to maginet mix tape made between thanksgiving and december 9th 2003 for my good friend Paul. In some ways this feels like my cheesiest mix tape, but the experience of warmth and beauty I felt surrounded by during production gave me a hint of the paradis bourgeois that I so crave right now. While deeply theoretical about the problematics of the discourse on paradise and utopia, the tape is meant to be enjoyed while cooking a meal for friends and family. Most of all, I hope it will inspire a novel or play.

The art comes from my current fascination with libraries, both public & academic, and also with domestic design & comfort
