Comment:
This past new year's eve I hosted an 11.5 hour program called New Wave New Years on WMBR, the purpose of which was to play songs from the late 70's early 80's as a soundtrack for listener get-togethers. I use the term New Wave loosely, so traditionalists who scowl "that song isn't new wave!" are probably correct. This particular section of the program had a similar theme to the last one, familiar artists doing songs that weren't their biggest hits. This one gets off to a rough start, as the Adam and the Ants cut skips and the U2 vinyl was completely shredded. I should have used the CDs! After that it straightens itself out quite well. I burned this mix down to disc while OTA without interruption. I'll be posting other NWNY mixes in the future, thanks for looking!Feedback:
You had hayzee fantayzee in the mix? Now that's taking a risk. I would have thought Scritti Politti or Randy Andy would have fit better.
