a valentine's day mix for my girlfriend, who once lamented that she didn't like songs about how beautiful someone is. in that vein, i constructed this sort of anti-valentines cd. some of these songs *are* about love, but in a much more destructive, upsetting fashion than is typically emphasized on the 14th. like the papa m song (a cover) "truckstop girl," which is about a trucker who dies a horrible death in his rig after rushing from the truckstop where his love told him they were finished.
