yet another mix for my girlfriend who mostly just tolerates my music. i think this mix, upon receipt, actually earned me the comment: "you don't need to keep making me these mixes..." hahahahah. i don't know if this reflects her general disinterest towards any music that's not chinese, or if it reflects on how my mixes suck crap.

about the mix itself, it's nothing groundbreaking or anything, no particular concept behind it. mostly just songs that she had expressed some faint interest in when they came on in my car. some of them (preston school of industry) were just passing fancies for me, but luckily a few of them (l'altra, ester drang) are definitely perennial favorites, and save this mix from complete obsolescence.
