a mix for my girlfriend on our one year anniversary. the title's from a leo kottke song, even though he's not on the mix...
cuts a pretty broad swath through what i've been listening to recently. i wish i could say that all of these songs have some special sort of significance, but i guess i'm just not that nuanced. plus my girlfriend only likes chinese pop music. which i guess begs the question of why make this mix at all? guess i wouldn't be a mix-taper if i wasn't trying to convert the people closest to me, no matter how hopeless the cause.
