Ah, mix #13. Made in January of 2003. This was the beginning of a good consistency for me in making mixes. The book was Stephen King's It, and the secondary theme was SUPERSTITION. The thematic and musical flows are both quite good, in my biased opinion. This is the third mix that I was truly proud of (after mixes 7 and 9).Feedback:
I like that Smiths song. You have a good flow here, esp. at the end.
I like the idea of a track called "Historypeats" + 'It.' The "Rockin' in the Free World" choice has me thinking about the gay kid that dies, + when his lover tells the cops that this town is like "...the corpse of an old lady with maggots in her cooze." I'm paraphrasing, but it's still wrenching. Out.
