Comment:

Yes, you guessed it -- another collection of pop psych from the late 60s, supplemented with some more current stuff that hints back to that magical time in music. Brownie points to Matt Hinrichs for the lovely Lesley Gore, Casetta for the excellent Easybeats and Valis for the just fine Jessica Fletchers. Also gotta thank Fox for supplying me with a rare "live action" still from "King of the Hill," which animators later transform into cartoon. I'll be selling it on eBay.

Well, although I know several of the artists, I don't know any of the songs. This intrigues me...

Great stuff as usual, what I know of it anyway. Now that is a serious case of Red Eye...must be my old Satanic self shoming through. Gads! I'm never going with a flat top again... I look freakin' bald!

Ditto NoV. Loads of fave artistes, loads of songs I never heard before. And as to those two guys on whatever: One "seriously hungover", one bald (ha!) - guess that might be pretty characteristical of us AotM nerds flooding this site with a wash of musical obscurantism. But who am I to make fun of anybody? Next thing you know your photo ends up on soemone else's cover . . . ;)

Ha! Welcome back, Mr Moe. Nice to see the passage of time has not diminished your love of psych, or your healthy obsession with altering mixer's photos in a brilliant stylee. A superb mix. Great opener and it just flows along nicely. Especially like the inclusion of Surprise Package and The Standells.

Cool mix. Love that Equals pick with Eddy Grant on vocals and later covered by the Clash.

Excellent Ionic Modulator!
Outstanding opener and it doesn't look, to these (clear) eyes there's a tan patch o' grass on here! Great picks from liliys, July, You Am I, High Dials,Easybeats, and the Moon! If ever two guys needed grass-that was the day!

Way cool. I want one.

I'm digging the Jessica Fletchers. That label actually sent me a bunch of CDs to review, and most of the bands sound just like that. Lilys and BJM are also perfectly at home here among the 60s bands. Have you heard All Night Radio yet?

Superb combination of old and not so old stuff, Ion! This must flow smooothly! I'm unfamiliar with a couple of acts. Oshun? The Patriots? We gotta talk!

Only one CD currently available by Reparata & The Delrons and it doesn't contain "Captain Of Your Ship". That song alone makes this mix worth the price of admission!

This mix could be my credo! All songs having meaning to me seem to be contained herein. I think there might've been three guys on grass! Great job Ion!
