i have about 300 commercial commercial tapes of awful early 90s artists. now whenever i am practicing mixing in my room i record it on a prerecorded tape to see what worked and what didnt. if i ever die unexpectedly, maybe the detectives going through my belongings will be like "well, he lived a meager life, but he sure did make tapes that made people get down"; and then they will have a huge impromptu dance party, destroying all forensic evidence.
