Finally, I found some remnants of a long lost mix tape made in 1998. It's actually a very fun mix when I look at the songs here. This was made while I was quite into punk; the more raw and agressive, the better (while being heavily into the Cocteau Twins as well ???). Back then I had a touch of insomnia. On weekends, I would stay late up and watch CinTmathFque Frantais on PBS. Amazingly, I found +ric Rohmer films to be interesting so they actually wouldn't even put me to sleep. On weeknights, I'd watch late night talk shows like Conan O'Brien. One night when watching Charlie Rose he concluded by showing a clip from the then new film 'The Impostors'. I had never seen it, but the particular scene he showed was hilarious and served perfectly as an Intro to this mix, especially prededing "I Want To Be Adored" I thought. It's Steve Buscemi telling Hope Davis to be afraid of Love because "it is real and it is terrifying!" Classic line!
