Comment:
Mix #30. Made in June of 2004. Book theme was Stephen King's From a Buick 8. Secondary theme was COUNTERACTION. This was meant in one sense as a kind of counterpoint the the previous mix, but only symbolically. I used some atonal works to represent the contacts with the alien and somehow very wrong world that the Buick 8 reveals. And the first track's a no-brainer, being referenced in the story and being the source of the title. Track 17 flows into track 18 really well.Feedback:
I really like your philosophy on your mix tapes... it adds a whole other dimension to the music if they can tell a story together. The variety on this mix is kindof amazing, you've got Slipknot to Ben Folds, within the proximity of 5 songs!
