The beginning of May just tied over all of the sappy emotional weight from April (Kill, Skin and Bones). I, as I usually do, turned to the classics to assuage these feelings (Silent All These Years), and then to more up beat things (Detroit Lift Your Weary Head). I reread the Awful Rowing Toward God (Old Man, The Other Side). I got excited about next year (The District Sleeps Alone Tonight). Danced some (The Anointed One, Boys You Won't Remember), and was happily in love (We Get Down).
