September was about moving to DC and losing things. I wandered around the first part of the month wondering what on Earth I was doing (Oh my god) and attempting to expedite the get-over-the-boyfriend-of-two-years process (Bend to Squares). I rode the metro to Virginia one day (Chimera Obscurant) and that made me miss Patrick even more (I'll Never get over you). I saw garden state, i empathized (Waiting Line). So I tried to get over stuff (Coast to Coast) but I ended up just making myself rather sad and apathetic (The Bends). I spent a few nights crying online to Patrick wondering "do you still love me" (Do you love coffee?). I continued to try and press on (Don't think twice) and got a tad homesick reminiscing about Virginia (these Invisible cities). But the month ended with Patrick coming to DC for my birthday and reminding me how much I really love him and he loves me. It was great while he was here, but the last few days of September I kept wishing a praying he was back with me and we were the same as ever (Lyon).
