January began slowly--sort of stagnant (It's not) full of a certain montony about the days (Track 01, Go On Drone). Patrick got me really excited about seeing Engine Down (Songbird, Everybody Knows). He and I went to Charlottesville (Great Ghosts, Tuff Luff). I acted lame a lot (Texas to Ohio, Farewell Transmission), so I turned to ole Tori Amos, as I normally do when I get down (Tear In Your Hand).
