My first purely chronological mix, these are the songs in the order that I "got into" them throughout the month. It started out driving home late at night listening to Maritime (Human Beings), then going to North Carolina where I "rocked out" to some Modest Mouse (World at Large). Coming home sucked (Holland), but you just make do (Reconstruction Site). I got stressed (Boy Spun Out) tried my best to just chill out (Breathe In), but being unemployed and poor does not make for good times (Here I Dreamt I was an Architect, Black Cadillacs). I heard the new Engine Down CD (Rogue), and went to see my ole friend Nick Coward perform (I wrote this on the cover...). Nick's music makes me nostalgic too, as did new Pinback (Fortress). I got a job, got to listening to streaming radio (Philosophy). The end of July brought a sort of unpleasant or maybe it was pleasant reminder about how much time before going off to college there really is... (Vapour Trail)
