Comment:
I consider this a signature mix in that it has the essentials of a Hemizen mix. Somthing old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Oh and don't forget some humor. Its important to start the mix off that gets your attention-first impressions are evertything! The last song should be the climax, something with a bang to it at the end.
Feedback:
Lots of good picks. Haven't heard that Traffic song in a while. .... But with that cover, you need a version of "As Time Goes By!"
Niceness. I especially like the Bright Eyes pick.
Wonderful mix o' stuff. And heed Hemizen's advice everyone, safe sex = "big bag at the end" ;-)
I agree with your mix theory. Great mix & cover.
Great stuff, Hemi - I'm diggin' that Sahara Hotnights track - heard one by them on Little Steven's radio show recently...
I'm liken' lots of this stuff... the john hiatt, the new steve earle, beatles, billie, rem, dylan, coltrane and that carradine song from nashville.
*thumbs up* ditto on the Bright Eyes track. nice all around man.
Love 95% of this mix, which is a damn good batting average! Great job!
Looks way cool. Nice Carradine pick... I really like that song, particularly as it's used in the movie.
