Comment:
I apoligize for submitting two mixes in one day. It violates a personal rule. I want everyone who submitts a mix to have plenty of exposure. I am reading Jazzwomen by Wayne Enstice and Janis Stockhouse and it swings! It is about conversations with twenty-one musicians. I was able to get fifteen of the twenty-one on this mix. Miles Davis's Bitches Brew and Herbie Hancock's Head Hunters turned me on to jazz but Marian McPartland and Ben Sidran's PBS radio shows sent me off to new horizons.
Feedback:
What I know - I like - lookin' pure...
Great mix!
Very nice.
Vive la Jazz femmes.
great looking mix. btw, i keep looking for early sidran that was on "blue thumb". that's how i heard his work early on. also, he has a couple of jazz books out worth reading if you ever get a chance.
Some very nice picks.
