Comment:
Damn, it's been a long time since I made a mix. I only recently equipped myself with CD-burning technology, and this is the first mix I've done using my new toys. The title refers to the fact that I'm currently working in Sedona, Arizona, and the mix itself was made with the intention of sending it to a friend back in L.A. It was made from the subset of my collection that I happen to have here with me (about 70 CDs), and as I played with it, it evolved to focus mainly on countryish and folky rock with some psychedelic touches thrown in. It's also kind of structured into three parts, each one beginning with the guitar instrumentals by Arlo Guthrie, Pink Floyd, and Jay Farrar. On paper, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs look rather out of place, but in context, the song seems to work quite well.
Feedback:
excellent mix. I can really feel how it sounds.
Some nice pix on here, for sure.
Very cool.
