Comment:

I run a monthly indie-pop tape/CD-R swap, this is my compilation for September 2004. The recipient had no specific requests, so I started out introspectively with a few songs I've been obsessing about, including Northern Picture Library (love the non-conclusion) and Josh Rouse (the most heartbreaking normal letter to home). The mood shifts a bit with some new new wave like Ova Looven (this song reminds me of driving in tunnels at night) and post-shoegazer, then sinks into the introspective mud again. Fret not, it pulls out of the drive with a few wonderous Swedes taking the controls, Edson & Modesty Blaise. From then on the mood stays consistently poppy with some nice cheerleading from Fur Cups For Teeth and a propulsive Tilly And The Wall Tune. Pearl Harbour finishes it off with an explosively positive message. If you'd like to do a trade just let me know!

This is quite nice. Although I am in the middle of moving, I'd love to do a trade sometime after October 25th! :)

This does look really nice. Plenty of artists I love and a few I have no clue about. Is it too late to trade?
