Once upon a time, Grandma asked Mr. Weirdo if he would make a cd for Ivy. Mr. Weirdo said "anything for Ivy". And so they lived happily ever after.

Ivy is all most seven and so she is smarter and more mature than I am. Therefore I did not dumb this down for her. I want to have elements of humor, energy, social consciousness and something that she might hear on the radio. All I knew about her musical taste was she liked "I Will Survive" I work with her Grandma who is pretty cool but she thinks the Beatles are over rated and that Davy is the best Monkee.
