Comment:

Ok I flat out lied. My co-worker Marcia feels The Beatles are over-rated. That's what she feels and that is fine. However when I gave her a mix with Blackbird (she loves) and a mix with I Will (she likes) she did not recognize the artist. This is my attempt to have her reevaluate her feelings. Personally I think she must have had a boyfriend who liked The Rolling Stones best and his thinking rubbed off on her. In those days you were either a Stones fan or Beatles fan-you couldn't be both.

Can't fathom previous comment at all. I was too young to get caught up in the Beatles v Stones argument but my record collection = Stones 26 albums v Beatles 10 so I guess that says where I'm coming from! This is a great mix though Terry & I continue to be perplexed by that first comment?

My dad was a Beatles fan, so it should be quite clear which course I took. I love this.

Kudos to you for not tampering with the Long Medley, I says!

Yeah, I have the same thing going on. My one friend is conviced, after listening to an abundance of "classic hits" clear channel stations that the Beatles are "Overrated." One day I may prove him wrong. This is an outstanding Beatles mix, as I do prefer the Beatles to the Stones.

Nowhere Man is my favorite Beatles song...ever :) Good mix...some of which I'd never think to use.

I like this mix though there's some stuff on here that I'm not so keen on. You stayed away from most of the stuff that everyone has heard. I love Revolver and the songs you chose from it.

Dan The Jock states "there's some stuff on here that I'm not so keen on." I've read and re-read this statement. I've analyzed, scrutinized and had it thoroughly forensiced. It doesn't make any difference. The words in that particular order and in reference to a Beatles mix make no sense at all. I recommend medical advice. This mix i sentirely made up of songs by THE BEATLES. Let me repeat that -- THE BEATLES. "Not so keen on" is beyond my comprehension in this context. However, I may be a tad biased -- now there's an admission. I'll go and lie down now. Rant over. Or is it...

Damn! I've just read the comment from locovinagre. That's cold and wrong on every level. Of course a person is entitled to his or her own tastes and opinions, particularly about music. The exception to this is, you've guessed it -- THE BEATLES. I despair. When will we ever learn etc. etc. mumble, mumble, mutter, mutter.

You know what's great about the Beatles? Every song becomes a favorite. You constantly ask yourself, "How did they do that?!".

There's not topping 'em.
