Comment:

The latest chapter in the girlie pop series returns to its original international theme after flirtations with the Beatles and the alphabet. As usual, I have people to thank: Buglady for Claudia Gomez, Matt Hinrichs for Quarteto Em Cy and Valis for introducing me to Les Baton Rouge. How about a quiz? From what album did the image of the woman come from? Guess correctly and a copy is yours.

The cover is from Bobby Darin's 1968 release "flag-head woman". Correct?

Moe - this looks fabulous. By the way, Lecia and Lucienne are Danish, not Dutch. I have their Danish-language cover of Lesley Gore's "It's My Party" - if you're interested lemme know.

This is fantastic!! I really, really love the look of this - nice to see The Chicks there and to see Scotland represented, although (shamefully) I'm not familiar with Pink Kross. Oh well, one to check out. Really nice work; if you'd ever be up for a trade (read: if I have anything worthy of trading!!) I'd love a copy.

Hmm, this looks another tasty concoction from the San Diego shore, indeed. The inclusion of Jeanette is worth the price of admission alone, and while I do know quite a few of these chicas, I'm totally unfamiliar with the German Grrrls. Well . . . you live 'n loin.
