Comment:
The latest chapter in the girlie pop series returns to its original international theme after flirtations with the Beatles and the alphabet. As usual, I have people to thank: Buglady for Claudia Gomez, Matt Hinrichs for Quarteto Em Cy and Valis for introducing me to Les Baton Rouge. How about a quiz? From what album did the image of the woman come from? Guess correctly and a copy is yours.Feedback:
lovely stuff, Ion. You sure can dig 'em out from nowhere! Another on the pile for a (hopefully) soon-to-be trade between us.
great !!!
I wish I knew the answer to the quiz! This is a great long running series,
I haven't a clue about your quiz but always glad to see your girlcrazee stuff and actually I never ever heard of sambassadeur, are you sure they are Swedish ?
impressive
Looks neat-o-riffic. Your mixes will be sent this week.
Je reconnaitrais seulement #4,27 & 28 mais je pense un belle mTlange Ion.
Wonderful stuff.
The cover is from Bobby Darin's 1968 release "flag-head woman". Correct?
Don't know any of these... Curiousity abounds!
Damn I love this series. I love your commitment to international girlie pop. And I almost wore that hat this morning! -Dale
Love love it! Care for a trade??? (Please.)
Looks fabulous.
love to hear this - mostly new stuff to these ears. it's moe better!
four jacks and a jill! awesome.
thank heaven for little girls!
Lucky seven. Mina rocks.
Moe - this looks fabulous. By the way, Lecia and Lucienne are Danish, not Dutch. I have their Danish-language cover of Lesley Gore's "It's My Party" - if you're interested lemme know.
Another IHOG (International House Of Girls) Classic from the biggest collector of girls since someone named "Buffalo Bill"....bet this goes good with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
Hmmm is it great Art or is it great Trash ??? or even a nice mixture of both ??? or nothing mentioned above ???
I know some of the Girls ( ??? ) and theis playlist reminds me bit at a famous ( Totally CRAP )TV-Shows called TuttiFrutti ( may MOHR still knows that series ) ar all , it looks terrible Funny this one.

I know tutti frutti, there was a swedish version of that great ;) italian show among 10 years ago
ok, so how many CDs do I have to make for you in order to get this entire series? :)
I know very few of these artists, but I gotta say this looks incredible!!! Wow! Let me repeat that: Wow!
Boy oh boy does this look great. Your girlie pop mixes make a girl proud.
This is fantastic!! I really, really love the look of this - nice to see The Chicks there and to see Scotland represented, although (shamefully) I'm not familiar with Pink Kross. Oh well, one to check out. Really nice work; if you'd ever be up for a trade (read: if I have anything worthy of trading!!) I'd love a copy.
Hmm, this looks another tasty concoction from the San Diego shore, indeed. The inclusion of Jeanette is worth the price of admission alone, and while I do know quite a few of these chicas, I'm totally unfamiliar with the German Grrrls. Well . . . you live 'n loin.
Ooh, this looks delicious. I want one!!
this looks GREAT!!
After seeing the greatness of vol. 8 I thought i'd check out the rest -- WOW!! What a great, great collection...
