Comment:

This is just kind of a mix of monster and disaster movie stuff with escapist game show themes and a little sappy love song stuff mixed in. It's conceivably what it would sound like if people were actually undergoing these attacks and things outside and "Calgon-ing" it away with in their little domestic retreats. That's probably quite a stretch though. BTW there was a Godzilla conference last weekend outside of KC at KU kind of interesting called "In Godzilla's Footsteps: Japanese Pop Culture Icons on the Global Stage." Interesting but who's got that much free time? The paper says "[f]or a complete schedule, call KU's Center for East Asian Studies at 785-64-3849." Too bad it's too late now. Maybe they'll make some MST3K versions of those old movies.

Wow, John! This looks great, though I'm not sure if the Billy Joel songs are the sappy love songs or the disaster movie stuff. Scary indeed! :) Love the Morricone, Scott, Ikufube, and Mayfield especially -- and Jesus Crispies! It's Psychefunkapus!!! Groovy!

Just what Mr. Jackson said. M. Joel is scary monster stuff indeed. The rest looks mighty tasty, tho. And you can't go wrong with Raymond Scott, Bloodstone or Curtis.

I concur with the previous two dudes on the Joel-thing; more than a little baffling here... Love the Elfman track, and the Krofts. THE KROFTS!!!! LOL!!!

I love the Nick Drake, both Mayfield, and Association picks. Billy Joel is my personal Antichrist, however, so I won't comment further... ;-)

Interesting idea ... needs some editing I do believe ... and I'm with rob on Billy Joel, I'm afraid ... but keep on mixing ...
