Comment:

set the controls for the heart of the cosmic mind............when the power of love overcomes the love of power........

To all my friends on AOTM...Have a happy thanksgiving, Christmas, Solstice, whatever you want to call it...........life is a chair of bowlies!

A typically spacey mix of psych, folk, pop and other mind-expanding (hopefully)stuff (what a useful word) from about 1966 onwards. enjoy!

Nice Creation, Devendra, Hawkwind and Prunes picks. I'll take your word on the quality of the rest. :-)

Life's a bowl of all-bran ain't it? For me 7-14 looks like it would 'change me thought patterns' quite nicely thank you very much! Copey there to guide us on our merry way, bless the barking mad bastard!

(Reads as) Great Gerry! Haven't heard the Octopus Syng track but have had my eye on 'em for some time via websites and reviews;the next eight tracks are a pure blend of Hollingshead's Mayo' jar....,especially the Sun Dial (!) and Paisleys. Some germane tracks to close the theme: Windows Of Limited Time, Clock, Next Plane To The Sun, and the brilliant closer by those "Painter Men"! Apropos title as well.., it's all really "invisible landscape" innit?
"Achievement of the zero state can be imagined to arrive in one of two forms. One is the dissolution of the cosmos in an actual cessation and unravelling of the natural laws, a literal apocalypse. The other possibility. the culmination of a human process, a process of toolmaking, which comes to completion in the perfect artefact: the monadic self, exteriorised, condensed, and visible in three dimensions; in alchemical terms, the dream of a union of spirit and matter"

Brilliant!
For those of us who traverse this landscape as much as possible this mix could perhaps be the auditory hallucination you've been hearing...having heard it -twice (!) now in the span of 14 hours it does not disappoint.

By the by, that Yohji track has haunted me since I first heard it on the label site for the "Pull Up The Paisley Covers" compilation. Beautiful set piece in the midst of this mind-blower of a mix. A true work of art.

simply brilliant! one of those mixes that never leaves the disc player. heady enough for the bold explorer, smooth enough to put the wee bairns to bed to. at times it flows together like an album by a single incredible artist.
