Comment:
One of reggae's best artists over some of the weirdest and most avant-garde soundscapes in reggae. The ghost of Krautrock can be heard on the "G-String" riddim (#10), while the "Ole Sore" riddim (#21 has a backward-running bassline with a barely perceptible, almost ultrasonic saxophone over pounding TR-808 drums. Doubles are the "Rice and Peas/Bun Bun" riddim (#5 & 6) and the "Bad Kalic" riddim (#16 & 17). And, finally, old-school producer Mr. Doo hits the jackpot with his amazing "Hi-Fever" riddim (#12). This will fit on a 74-minute MiniDisc.Feedback:
