Something to melt the snow away.Feedback:
Nice lookin' collection. I have a feeliing that Too Cool McCool is really hot.
A guy in my area is offering a blues seminar that promises to teach, among other things,
"what a "mojo" is and why many famous blues artists were blind or crippled...." Anybody got any information on either of those?

Great closer!
This is right up my alley. Great mix!
Beautiful.
Oh... and about Mixxer's question about the blind or crippled blues artists: In several books the authors have noted that in the 1920s-30s there were virtually no vocational opportunities available to blind or disabled individuals, thus many turned to music to eke out a living.
Oh yeah. oh yeah. Loving the Broonzy into Waters segue. Don't knwo the Koko Taylor cut, but I bet she blasts it!
superb, on the rarer side of the blues
Fantastic!
Wonderful.
Now yer talkin,' superb Terry & here's to future volumes.
Excellent--looking forward to the future volumes.
Re: mojo"
A mojo was a magical charm or amulet, often kept in a bag containing various roots and powders and sometimes a "mojo hand", the dried paw of a monkey or cat (hence, "going down to New Orleans to get me a black cat hand"). Most often used as a love charm or aphrodisiac.
"Scarey day Blues":"My good gal got a mojo, she's trying to keep it hid / But Georgia Bill got something to find that mojo with / I said she got that mojo, and she won't let me see / And every time I start to love her, she's tried to put them jinx on me."

Awesome mix.
Bluest of the blues from beginning to end, from Leadbelly & Blind Lemon to Katie & Koko. Solid.
Looking cool. Should be a cool series from you.
This looks super-cool, fantastic, etc.
yep - what everyone else said.
Great stuff. A few I'm not familiar with, but the ones I know are top notch.
I'm with Onn, and a nice Skip James pick too.
Oooh, lovely opening. The rest is fantastic too.
Great choices especially intro and outro.
I am in total agreement with Mixxer!!!
Looks lovely. (Who are these people, drinking in the morning! Sheesh, even I ain't got the stamina for that!)
Wow. Great to stumble onto this site. Thanks for playing my tune "Good Luck/Bad Luck". We're in great company here.
