Comment:
Not a new mix, but one I'd forgotten I'd made, recently rediscovered, and found still quite enjoyable. Mostly these are from around 94-96, because that was when I was in middle school/early high school and really just starting to listen to rock music, and thus a lot of these songs are pretty nostalgic for me. Also I really like that there seemed to be a certain point in the mid-90's where suddenly all kinds of odd left-field hits were turning up. I mean if Space's "Female Of The Species" had come out in 2004, you wouldn't exactly expect to hear it on the radio after the latest Sum 41 track. I suppose the Lips aren't "one hit wonders" anymore since "Do You Realize???" got fairly big a few years ago, but I think my line of thinking was that the disc would just feel incomplete without "She Don't Use Jelly".Feedback:
it feels like it's missing something important, but i can't think of what.
good mix, overall, though.

Toss in Primative Radio Gods "Standing outside a broken phonebooth..." and this is a perfect mix. Good job!
Wonderful mix with a great closer.
he-heey, this is cool!
Crap, Primitive Radio Gods, I didn't even think of them. I loved that song. Oh well, there's a few things I didn't get to fit in (the Butthole Surfers' "Pepper", Ween's "Push Th' Little Daisies" etc), so maybe there'll be a volume 2 sometime.
That Geggy Tah track is great. "Brimful of Aha" is on constant repeat on iTunes. Again, I listen to a majority of these songs on a daily basis.
love that toadies track. plus the folk implosion, sneaker pimps, and placebo are great too. i wouldn't mind tradin for this.
