Comment:

A mix made for Sport!, whose own excellent eclectic mixes inspired this one. I briefly considered doing an all-sports themed mix, but I'll leave that to someone more capable, like Joey De Vivre or Nest of Vipers. Still I had to use the theme to Wild World of Sports, which is where the title of the mix came from. Instead he gets songs about radios, apes, dead movie stars, cavewomen and wheat products -- subjects we can all relate to. Hope he likes it!

I can relate! This one would have a "magic feeling" all right, "pumping on your stereo" -

& in the red corner representing eclecticism it's Ion. 29 rounds 'punching on your stereo.'

Love the Raveonettes.

How about the Stephen Sondheim song called "Pour Le Sport"? Same guy, right?
