Comment:
A mix made for Sport!, whose own excellent eclectic mixes inspired this one. I briefly considered doing an all-sports themed mix, but I'll leave that to someone more capable, like Joey De Vivre or Nest of Vipers. Still I had to use the theme to Wild World of Sports, which is where the title of the mix came from. Instead he gets songs about radios, apes, dead movie stars, cavewomen and wheat products -- subjects we can all relate to. Hope he likes it!Feedback:
Man, this is great!! Wheat products! Thanks, Ion - can't wait to hear it...
Any mix with Lancelot Link is a great mix.
just like sports mix to you, great in variation and selection
Looks like a savage right hook of a mix, if you ask me.
Digging the intro, 14 and 21!
YES! Nice indeed.
I'm liking a lot of this.
I dig it.
Superb stuff, old chap.
I can relate! This one would have a "magic feeling" all right, "pumping on your stereo" -
& in the red corner representing eclecticism it's Ion. 29 rounds 'punching on your stereo.'
Love the Raveonettes.
How about the Stephen Sondheim song called "Pour Le Sport"? Same guy, right?
How about the Stephen Sondheim song called "Pour Le Sport"? Same guy, right?
The spice of life.
Great stuff!
This is really great.
Excellent! Nice and eclectic - that's what we like to see! Cool ending, and nice Blur pick too.
Very interesting...the thrill of victory and the agony of de - feet!
Nice Creation/Supergrass picks here O' Ionic Modulator! Looks like the Sport of Kings to me....
