Comment:
I can go to the public library and rent a cd for 25 cents. R.I.P Jimmy Smith.Feedback:
excellent. I plan to use the Brian Wilson track on a soon-to-come mix.
I like the REM through the end, especially. A strong Saturday showing there!
great as always. I sent you a message through your AOTM profile about wanting to do a trade, but obviously it didn't go through...so if you still want to, e-mail me and we can work something out. :) abigailmonaghandice@yahoo.com
Yeah, Ter, you better keep up with your email!
This looks like a great collection. "He Don't Care About Me" is an excellent pick.
Did you know that the Hollies did a French version of their song, under the title "Regardez Par Des FenOtres," sung over the same backing track as "Look Thru Any Window." Keep rockin'. -Mixxer

Jeez, they charge 50 cents at my library! And all they have are the Dixie Chicks and Peter, Paul & Mary. This looks like fun. Love the Josef K!
looking good
Nice one hemizen.., use *all* your resources.
Wow, a quarter? I can get'em for free! I am interested in seeing if my local library has some of these - I've never thought of checking for the Spencer Davis Group or for Brian Wilson's 'Smile' - well off to the library... Nice mix!!
You've got a good libary there! My campaign pledge: if elected President in 2008, I will make ALL music available at ALL public libraries for free, (financed by a tax on Halliburton war profiteering).
Lotsa nice picks. I vote for Joey & his pledge (maybe add a tax on SUVs & monster trucks?); the current admin is probably tracking library music borrowing too! After all, there is DANGEROUS music in the libabries, and someone might just copy them and share them!
DO NOT take that for granted! I used to get them free in Ann Arbor, then moved to Dallas (a much bigger, richer city), and was sorely disappointed in the cd lending (or lack thereof) arrangements
Wonderful.
I love that Hollies track and that Band song...
yep........support your local Library......and don't forget to read, something else the administration probably wishes we didn't do!!!
Cool mix. Definitely support your local public library. We almost lost ours recently due to extreme county budget cuts. Our CDs are free to borrow and I check out hundreds a year.
God bless public libraries! This is a great mix - love the Andrew Bird, Josef K and I must admit, I am a total sucker for that Keane track. Nice.
Cool stuff - esp. the Josef K, Spencer Davis, and Hollies.
Great selections.
awesome but where is the wings track? i guess next mix.
and also, no life is complete without the trane.
