Comment:

A mix of rock 'n roll, surf rock and soundtrack instrumentals from the first ten years of rock 'n roll. I've also included South African band, The Shangaan's version of 'Skokiaan' (a potent alcoholic beverage - "Skokiaan' means "happy-happy") which has been recorded by Bill Haley, Perez Prado, Ringo Starr, Louis Armstrong and many others... The original was recorded in 1950 by the Bulawayo Sweet Rhythms Band from Zimbabwe (then known as Rhodesia).
The Beatles instrumental was recorded in 1961 as a tribute to the Shadows. And yes, I do love the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack, how did you guess?

lots of popular instrumentals here. Thius contains many of my favs. Yes, I love Pulp Fiction too, just look at my "We don't need no stinkin' lyrics" mix, or many of Sean Lally's great surf instrumental mixes.

Some nice stuff. I just picked up The Shadows A/B sides; I never knew they were so big, except for Apache. Another great version of Skokiaan is by Brave Combo, the polka+ band. They also did wild versions of the Door's Strange Days & (my favorite) 16 Tons.

All great stuff here, man! I give it my instrumental-snob thumbs-up. Love them Shadows, Johnny/Hurricanes, Link, and many more. Plus, you have the all-time best instro song, Telstar. Long live Joe Meek!

Oh rock the heck on! I love, love, love, love Skokiaan. But does it count as an instrumental if someone cackles & yells "Wipe out" at the beginning?

Yes Jenergy, I agree, which is why I very cleverly edited out that "Wipe out" at the beginning...never liked it anyway, and I always felt it distracted from the song :)
