My favorite living female singerFeedback:
Nice. I've got one of these... called "I am waiting on your back steps." ;-)
Passionat Kisses is a real lost classic
Very nice selections...!
Love Williams. Love the opener and the Essence picks (although I'd throw Bus to Baton Rouge in to replace Essence)! But nothing from Ramblin'? I know it's before Williams came into her own, but I still think it's a great album. A bit too much from Car Wheels, IMHO, a very good but ultimately over-rated album. This is a pretty good primer, though.
I am glad you opened with Lafayette.
I haven't heard much of this lady, but what I have heard I like. If you want to trade sometime.........
Great picks from on of my favorite artists.
Great collection from a great artist.
Great selections.
You can't go wrong with Ms Williams. Like Mr Conroy. I have one of these :)

Never really listened to her Hem, but what I've heard I've liked!
I haven't listened to Lucinda Williams very much but this looks like an excellent introduction. Maybe we can set up a trade sometime.
Beautiful. She was supposed to come to Australia last year but cancelled after her mum died. Hope she comes again soon. Hope Marcia enjoys it!
Lucinda is so cool. I used to see her in LA playing at the Palomino for free. At first I didn't really like her. Then I saw her do "I Changed the Name of This Town" and I was sold for good. She's really excellent and highly recommended for anyone who has missed her!
excellent
