Comment:

A little something thrown together for the lovely Jamie B, in an effort to reciprocate for the two wonderful looking mixes she compiled for me recently. We both like sunshine pop, twee pop, psych pop --- pretty much any kind of pop for that matter -- I'll be crushed if she doesn't like it. Once again, I have to give Thomas Mohr credit, this time for the amazing Die Moulinettes song. Also thanks to Patrick Taylor for hipping me to Rogue Wave via an mp3 link on a mix he posted here. They could be bigger than the Shins.

Shit. I can't believe I put the artists under the songs and vice versa. I'm too drunk to change it.

And I was already wondering which Air album included a song called "The Owls" . . . ;) Although I don't know most of these songs, this mix mos' def' looks like it could give me a seamless tan as well. To give an impression this smashing, I'd have to buy some new lipstick and eye-shadow, though.

Ha, thought this looked mighty obscure at first glance! Now I see your reliably pop-tastic touch.

Nice. Haven't seen The Raincoats on a mix for a while. Get yer iTunes on and you can still drink!

This looks like loads of fun. Love that Orange Juice track, too. I hope Edwyn Collins pulls through.

This looks really great! I think the models on the cover must be twee-huggers...

Looks great although I don't recognize much -- I'm been away from the world of twee for too long! :)

Boy, I don't know many of these songs. But "Consolation Prize" is such a great song by such a great and totally underrated band, a sort of wussy-boy anthem!
